Mom's Mapo Tofu

There are many variations of this dish because it comes together quickly with most pantry and refrigerator items.  What I enjoy about cooking is each recipe can be customized to taste, recipes are just the foundation to determine what flavors you enjoy.

  1. Heat a wok with a little oil on medium high heat
  2. Add pork and cook about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, chili garlic sauce, shoyu, chicken broth and tofu.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook 2-3 minutes
  5. Mix cornstarch and water to make a paste and add to pan, cook until thickened
