Baked Sushi
I like to creaminess of eating this warm but also is just as tasty at room temperature, leftovers microwave well, too! It's an easy potluck dish for people to make their own roll. Just discovered there's flavored nori!
Ingredients
- 4 C Rice or enough to cover 3/4" on the bottom of the pan. Tips for cooking rice Pressure cook Brown and White rice for lower carbs / Helpful Hacks | Cooking with Aloha, Texas Style (cooking-with-aloha-texas-style.com)
- 1 C mayonnaise
- 1 C sour cream
- 4 C imitation crab
- Nori for hand rolls
- Furikake
Directions
- Layer 3/4" hot rice in 9 X 13 pan (I use brown and white, to make it seem healthier)
- Mix remaining ingredients and layer on rice
- Bake 350 F 20-25 minutes
- Finish under a broiler to brown
- Sprinkle furikake
- Eat with nori for hand rolls or scoop out as a rice dish without the nori
