With Lockhart being the BBQ capital of Texas, there is never a shortage of Plan B backups. It was Memorial Day weekend and took our chance.  We missed the cut at Barb's BQ, they sold out by 12:30, we were so close, made it to the door before hearing the sad news.  Terry Black's was where we saw others who also waited at Barb's and drove over here.  The main proteins are done the Texas way with a good smoke and tender bite, the creamed corn and chocolate cookie pudding are not to be missed.  We need to be at Barb's about 10 next time.
