Good Dog Cookies

5 ingredients make the best treats that are Makai and Nala approved.  They are good dish washers/taste testers.  Makai really likes peanut butter and let him have fun with the empty container.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 C sweet potato (peeled and mashed)
  • 3 C flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 C peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 C pumpkin puree

Directions

  1. Microwave sweet potato - cut in small pieces, cook on high about 5 minutes until soft and mashable.
  2. Mash sweet potato and cool
  3. Add canned pumpkin puree
  4. Add peanut butter
  5. Add eggs
  6. Add flour
  7. Use a hand mixer to combine and let the dogs 'help' prewash the beaters.
  8. Scoop balls on to ungreased pan with silicone mat.  These don't expand and can fit in 1 pan.  I experimented with a large and small scoop and both sizes work well. Dogs got to clean their own scoopers.
  9. Bake at 350 F about 40 minutes and cool.
  10. Makai and Nala approved!
