We enjoy discovering small, hidden gems, and Wee's Malaysian cooking is a surprise to find inside the Royal Blue Grocery store. Upon entering, you place your order to the right corner where there's a small table. We opted for the Beef plate, recommended by the attendant, along with seaweed chips. The portion was generous, and every bite was savored; the seasoning and cooking were spot-on. The seaweed chips were an inventive touch, and the accompanying dipping sauce enhanced the crunch with an additional flavor layer. The market offers a wide selection of local foods, with especially the snack section to browse as our meal was prepared.

The space is compact, but we were fortunate to arrive just as a family was leaving, allowing us to enjoy our meal at the counter instead of the outside eating area. As we finished our delicious dinner, Wee stopped by to check on what we were having and chatted for a bit. My husband couldn't help but laugh when she asked me where I was from, and I replied "Liberty Hill," misunderstanding that she was referring to my ethnicity.

Wee's is an ideal spot for savoring a tasty meal before walking to the Paramount and taking in the views of the State Capitol.
